The new cross with Corpus installed today. It comes from the Demetz woodcarving workshop in the northern region of Italy, known as Val Gardena. The wood is lindenwood, a lightweight specie that is grown in Europe.
The new Tabernacle is in place.
Our tabernacle came from the religious community of the Little Sisters of the Poor in Richmond VA. They had a nursing home in Richmond, which closed down due to lack of vocations.
The original stations of the cross were reinstalled.
The wood inlays were placed in the furnishings, the altar, the ambo, the presider chair.
The piano, organ, and cantor stand (original updated, stained to match furnishings) are in place!
